About Us
Welcome to Outdoor Explore Wales, South Wales based paddle boarding experience operator. We offer a combination of pre-planned and bespoke events where we take care of every detail so that you have the most hassle-free experience.
Guided tours
Join Martin, Outdoor Explore Wales on a guided tour. These trips are for small groups (3-6) making sure you are having a great time regardless of your age and experience. Bespoke trips, longer tours, and multi-day adventures are also available. Contact us for more details.
Lessons
We offer small group lessons to new participants in the paddleboarding world. You will be provided with all the necessary skills to get you going safely on your future adventures. All kit is included or you can bring your own (and join us at a reduced price).
Private coaching is also available.
SUP hire
If you wish to hire out some of our stand up paddleboards, paddles, buoyancy aids, wetsuits, get in touch.
We often offer the kit hire at the venues which we use for our guided tours or tuition sessions.
Group events
We can deliver bespoke group events for Hen and Stag parties, team-building events, birthdays or any other reason you can get a group of people together! All equipment is provided for you – we can even supply lunch!

Kids activities
During the holidays we love delivering our Kid’s Club paddleboard sessions. These small group activities for 8 to 16-year-olds are great for confidence boosting in a fun and safe environment!
We also offer bespoke birthday parties, just drop us a message and we can come up with a plan!
We had a great trip on a night time paddle from Brynich Lock. Really loved being out at night, not something we would’ve done ourselves but was great fun and very relaxing with Martin, who was brilliant! Loved it.
Great trip! Had a relaxed paddle along the canal, with our expert guide helping us navigate the odd obstacle (including a flotilla of swans!) and providing some tips to improve our technique. Highly recommend whether a complete beginner or experienced SUPer 😊
