VALENTINE’S/ ANTI- VALENTINE’S paddle trips.
February 14th. Love it or Hate it, we have a paddle trip for you!
In the afternoon, from 2:30 pm, we’ll be out for our anti-valentines paddle! No couples allowed! XD
From 6 pm, we’ll be out for a romantic night paddle, taking in the peaceful surroundings of the Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal, hand-in-hand, paddle-to-paddle!
SCHOOL HOLIDAYS with Outdoor Explore Wales
Kids’ Club!
For ages 8-16! Keep the kids entertained during the holiday periods with a safe and fun-filled paddle session! After the session, they will even get a British Canoeing Paddlesport Start certificate – for FREE!
Family Paddle
Did you know we offer a discounted FAMILY TICKET? For 3 or 4 people (must include at least one person under 16) and valid for use on all our half-day trips.
Favourite Year-Round Adventure
Paddle to Pub Lunch
Join us on a gentle paddle to the pub for lunch! This slow adventure on the Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal can be a 3/4 day or a full-day experience. After a morning’s paddle, we stop for a Traditional Pub Lunch to refuel before heading (probably even more slowly!) back to the cars!
Multi-Day Adventures
River Wye 100
So called as it’s 100 miles from Glasbury to Chepstow on the River Wye!
FULL WYE-100 ADVENTURE!
Our Wye-100 Adventure is a 4 day expedition, covering the full 100 miles! What an epic adventure! You’ll get to see so much awesome scenery all the way down the famous Wye valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and get up close with nature.
If you’d like to take it a bit slower, we can make the adventure last longer – or if you don’t think you can paddle for 4 days…
2-day Wye Paddles
Think 100 miles in one trip is a bit much for you? What about if we broke it down into smaller chunks? Good idea, right?
Starting in May, we’ll be paddling various stretches of the river Wye in 2-day trips, camping overnight at some of the stunning campsites (many of which have a pub nearby) along the river.
Multi-Day Canal Trips
In 2023 we’ll also be taking you on multi-day trips on the Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal to explore more of this amazing waterway, meandering through the Brecon Beacons National Park.

Explore West Wales
We’ll be heading to West Wales to spend a couple of days at a time exploring some of the rivers and stunning seas around the Pembrokeshire Coast – who knows what wildlife we’ll see there too?
Outdoor Explore Wales will be spending a couple of days in West Wales and will plan a trip or 2 each day we’re there – and you’re welcome to book on to as many or as few adventures as you like!
Explore Gower
The same idea as our West Wales exploring trips, but around the unique and beautiful coastline of Gower!
