This meet is all about our mental health, it’s for all of us…
Do you want to chat? Let’s talk, we will listen. Do you feel like sitting quietly and relaxing? Perfect, we will provide you with the right space. Do you wish to go on a short journey? Naturally, we can add this too.
Don’t expect a fast pace or even a medium pace. We will paddle slowly, relax, watch, listen, and simply take it all in…

Paddle Safer Award
We strongly believe anybody new to paddling should have access to basic safety skills and knowledge.
Outdoor Explore Wales is one of the British Canoeing Delivery Partners and we would like to offer the Paddle Safer Award for FREE!
This course is for anyone new to paddle sport, in any craft (your own or you can hire one of our crafts).
It’s ideal for paddlers wanting to be safer when paddling in sheltered environments.
The Paddle Safer Award will be delivered in a very friendly and fun way, by an experienced tutor.
During the two-hour course, we will provide you with:
-Confidence
-Raise your awareness of safety
-Cover rescues specific to your craft
-Knowledge of where to take your learning next, if you wish to follow such a path
– you can hire a full set of kit for only £10. If you just need part of the kit (e.g. buoyancy aid or QR belt), please ask for hire prices.
This really is a fun, must-try activity. Paddle sports are great, not only for your body and mind but also for your soul. We will help you to make it all a little bit safer, that’s all.

Litter Free Paddle
We love the environment we paddle in and want to keep it clean and safe for future use by us, you, and future generations.
As such, we plan paddle trips with the sole purpose of collecting litter from our favourite paddle spots.
Our Litter Free Paddles are FREE to attend, we will provide litter pickers and rubbish bags – and we’ll even lend you a craft if you don’t have one!
Our first Litter Free Paddle of 2023 will be on Saturday 11th March.
